Discover the fascinating figures of Sonoma’s past on the Mountain Cemetery Tour, hosted by the Sonoma Valley Historical Society. Hear stories of local legends, from a vintner who used 6,000 gallons of wine to fight the 1911 fire to a trailblazer who launched a thriving industry.

Tours run mid-morning to early afternoon in small groups, beginning at the Mountain Cemetery water fountain. Expect steep terrain; proper footwear, water, and optional walking sticks are recommended. Parking is available at the Overlook Trail and Veterans Memorial Building lots or on 1st Street West.

The tour lasts approximately 75 minutes and space is limited—reserve your spot early!
