Join expert foragers Autumn Summers and Ricardo Romero Gianoli for a hands-on seaweed foraging class on the Sonoma Coast near Bodega Bay. Learn how to identify, sustainably harvest, and cook with edible seaweeds while exploring the intertidal zone. Each 3-hour beach session includes harvesting up to 10 lbs of seaweed and a live cooking demo. Classes are held on low-tide mornings (6/15, 6/16, 6/28, 6/29, 7/12, 7/13, 7/26, 7/27) and include a pre-recorded Zoom intro (available May 28) to help you get the most out of the in-person experience. Each class is standalone.

Open to ages 8 and up, with sliding-scale pricing options. Location details provided upon registration. Bring waterproof shoes, cooler, mesh bags, and scissors. A portion of the proceeds supports the Native American Rights Fund. Come connect with nature, community, and the nourishing gifts of the ocean!
