Sandy’s is a Bay Area band formed by singer-songwriter Alexi Glickman following the breakup of the acclaimed indie group The Botticellis. What began as a casual recording project evolved into a full band featuring Burton Li, Jeremy Black, and Nick Aives, blending surf rock, indie, jazz, and melodic songwriting into a distinctive sound.
Since releasing their debut album Fourth Dementia in 2014, Sandy’s has continued to refine its signature style of shimmering guitars, rich harmonies, and atmospheric arrangements. Their latest album, Sound of the Bay, was recorded in Truckee and embraces an organic, improvisational approach inspired by collaboration and exploration. The result is an engaging collection of songs that showcases the band’s evolving surf-jazz influences and creative spirit.
