Jack London State Historic Park invites dog owners to the post-Halloween Walk’n Wag! This 3-mile outing takes participants and their dogs around the Beauty Ranch and along the trail to the Wolf House, with water stops, treats, and plenty of sniffing along the way. Costumes are encouraged but optional.
Dogs must be friendly with people and other dogs, kept on a short leash, and able to handle wildlife without bolting. Participation is limited to the first 15 registered dogs.
As a wildlife sanctuary, dogs are only allowed in designated historic areas and may not enter the historic buildings. Service animals trained to assist a person with a disability are welcome. This fun, scenic walk offers a safe and engaging way for dogs and their humans to enjoy the historic grounds together.
