Don Ross, a two-time U.S. National Finger-Style Guitar Champion, is set to perform at The California Theatre of Santa Rosa on November 22, 2024. Known for his genre-blending “heavy wood” style that pulls from blues, jazz, folk, and classical music, Ross has been an influential figure for a generation of acoustic guitarists. His latest album, WATER (2023), features collaborations with Bruce Cockburn and Michael Manring, showcasing his signature groove-based sound.
Joining Ross as a special guest is Jule Malischke, an acclaimed guitarist, singer, songwriter, and artistic director of Germany’s Giengen Guitar Festival. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
