The Bodega Bay Fisherman’s Festival, held annually since 1973, is a family-friendly celebration featuring craft booths, live music, local food, and entertainment for all ages. Highlights include wine tastings with over 25 Sonoma County selections, local beers, and a variety of food from barbecued oysters to food trucks.

Festivalgoers can enjoy live music all day, artisan vendors from across California, and fun activities for kids like face painting, spin art, games, a touch tank, and a pet parade. A wooden boat challenge and race adds excitement, while Sunday morning features the traditional Blessing of the Fishing Fleet, honoring the start of salmon season.

Produced by the volunteer-run Bodega Bay Fisherman’s Marketing Association, the festival supports local nonprofit organizations and community services. It’s a lively, educational, and delicious way to celebrate Bodega Bay’s fishing heritage, local culture, and community spirit.
