Each April, Dry Creek Vineyard brings the community together to care for the place they call home for Dry Creek Valley Clean Up Day. What began decades ago as a service project led by Kim Stare Wallace’s sister has grown into a cherished Earth Day tradition in Dry Creek Valley.
Volunteers gather at the winery for coffee and a brief orientation before heading out alongside partners from Russian Riverkeeper and the Dry Creek Valley Association to help clean local roadsides and waterways. It’s simple, meaningful work made even better by good company and a shared love for the valley.
After the cleanup, participants return to the winery to relax and reconnect over light brunch bites and a glass of wine. No experience is necessary, just comfortable shoes, a willingness to lend a hand and a love for the community.
