The Snow Maiden meets Lel, a courageous shepherd, and falls in love. As foretold, her heart warms, and she begins to melt, returning to the Land of Snow. Undeterred, Lel embarks on a daring journey through magical lands, facing wonders and perils to find her.

Enjoy a magical afternoon of piano music at the House of Happy Walls with members of the Jack London Piano Club. This special program of winter and holiday pieces offers a peaceful Sunday escape from the seasonal rush.

The performance features Charmian London’s cherished 1901 Steinway baby grand piano, an instrument that once filled the London home with warmth and joy during lively gatherings. Since 2011, the Piano Club has presented quarterly concerts on this historic piano, raising over $25,000 to support park operations an achievement made possible by the community’s continued enthusiasm and support.

Save Kelp, Eat Urchin! Join a half-day intertidal ecology class to help restore the intertidal zone by removing overgrown sea urchins. Learn how to open and enjoy this delicacy, better known as “uni” and taste it at its freshest! Participants can take home up to 35 uni. A valid CA fishing license is required to participate.

Sonoma County Vintners is excited to announce an approachable new way for you to taste amazing Sonoma County wines called An Hour Uncorked! Each month we will give you complimentary direct access to some of the best wineries in Sonoma County where you can meet the winemaker, taste their exclusive wines and enjoy a bite, all at Region Wine Bar in The Barlow.

An Hour Uncorked will be held every third Thursday of the month, 5:30-6:30pm. Region will feature the winemaker and wines paired with delicious snacks from select Barlow restaurants. No reservations are necessary, simply stop by during the dedicated hour-long session. This winemaker series includes complimentary wine and specially curated bites, no purchase necessary.
