Another Trip Around the Sun: An Evening of Grateful Dead & Jam Band Magic at the Sebastopol Community Cultural Center brings together acclaimed Bay Area musicians for a night celebrating live music, community, and the spirit of improvisation.

The lineup features guitarist Mark Karan, formerly of Bob Weir & RatDog; keyboardist Scott Guberman of Phil Lesh & Friends; drummer Anna Elva of Stu Allen & Mars Hotel; and bassist/vocalist JP McLean of Melvin Seals & JGB. Together, they bring decades of experience and the spontaneous energy of the Grateful Dead and jam band tradition.

Opening the evening is Slowstring, a folk project featuring Sarah Ryan and Jimbo Scott, performing heartfelt harmonies and acoustic roots music.

This fundraising concert supports the Sebastopol Community Cultural Center and its ongoing arts, education, performance, and community programs. Join an unforgettable evening of music while supporting a beloved local gathering place.

Chico Pinheiro Trio with Edu Ribeiro and Scott Thompson & the Healdsburg Jazz Collective brings an unforgettable evening of Brazilian music and jazz to the Paul Mahder Gallery. Acclaimed Brazilian guitarist and composer Chico Pinheiro blends Brazilian, classical, and jazz influences with his distinctive sound and fluid playing. A two-time American Grammy nominee, Pinheiro has collaborated with renowned artists including Herbie Hancock, Brian Blade, Ron Carter, and Esperanza Spalding.

For this special performance, Pinheiro will be joined by drummer Edu Ribeiro and bassist Scott Thompson. Opening the evening, the Healdsburg Jazz Collective, led by saxophonist Ruth Ahlers, presents a special program celebrating Brazil, featuring Steve Weaver, Christian Foley-Beining, Chris Amberger, and Mario Aparicio.

A Dolly Good Time at the Friedman Event Center celebrates the joy of reading while raising funds for the Sonoma County Imagination Library, the local chapter of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. The program provides free, age- and language-appropriate books each month to children from birth through age five, helping support early learning and literacy throughout the community.

The inaugural fundraiser features a BBQ dinner by Sweet T’s, live music from Dustin Saylor, a silent auction, dancing, and a Dolly Parton Look-Alike Contest. Guests are encouraged to dress in their best Dolly-inspired outfits for a fun-filled evening supporting a meaningful cause. The Sonoma County Imagination Library is administered by First 5 Sonoma County and Community Foundation Sonoma County through local community partnerships.
