The evening begins with a seared Diver Scallop paired with their 2017 Sofia Brut Rose’. Fine cuisine continues with a Black Truffle Risotto with duck confit topped with Stravecchio and paired with the Family’s 2016 Bee’s Box Chardonnay. Followed by an impeccably Grilled Pork Filet with balsamic caramelized onions and trumpet mushrooms, the wine pairing is a 2014 vintage, Directors’ Cut Zinfandel from the Dry Creek Valley. Chef’s Luca dramatic highlight to the meal? A Roasted Lamb Rack paired with the 2013 Directors’ Cut “Cinema”. A happy ending for all is the Strawberry and Marzipan Tart paired with a Late Harvest Semillon from Francis Coppola Reserve, the Osborn Ranch, Alexander Valley.
