Rhiannon Giddens & The Old-Time Revue takes the stage at Green Music Center, celebrating her North Carolina roots and the old-time music tradition that launched her career. The two-time GRAMMY winner and MacArthur “Genius” brings together a powerhouse ensemble, including longtime collaborator Justin Robinson, Dirk Powell, Jason Sypher, Amelia Powell, and Demeanor.

The group performs music from Giddens’ upcoming album What Did the Blackbird Say to the Crow, a tribute to the southern Black string band legacy of her late mentor, Joe Thompson. Blending old-time, Cajun, country, and blues, this multigenerational band offers a heartfelt, high-energy performance rooted in tradition and community.
