Explore the wonderful world of oysters with our culinary educator in this oyster tasting and shucking demonstration. Chef Joel will explain the history, flavor profile, and preparation of oysters and why they make the perfect appetizer for your next gathering. After you learn how to shuck and slurp, you’re sure to want to take home your own oyster knife or shucking kit and become a master shucker.

The workshop includes fresh Pacific oysters for every participant to practice shucking and slurping, as well as an accompanying glass of bubbly. Shucking knives and gloves will be provided for use in the workshop. All participants will receive a 10% discount on purchases in SHED’s retail store the day of the event.
