Enjoy a delightful day full of hands-on learning in Heron Hall and around the peaceful Laguna Environmental Center grounds with master weaver, Charlie Kennard. We will use fine peeled sticks of the native coyote willow to make small, bowl-shaped, open-weave twined baskets. Participants already experienced with willow may choose to make baskets with flat- or recurved-bottom baskets.

Open to adults and teens, this class takes manual dexterity and previous weaving experience is very beneficial (not recommended for complete beginners or those with hand movement difficulties). All basket-making materials are included in the registration fee. Pre-registration required.
