USA 250: The Immigrant and The Citizen is an intimate chamber music evening honoring America’s 250th anniversary and Black History Month, set in the Wine Tool Museum Room at Buena Vista Winery. The program highlights the works of citizen composer Florence Price and immigrant composer Antonín Dvořák, celebrating their unique American stories through string quartet music.

The evening features Florence Price’s String Quartet No. 2 in A minor and Dvořák’s beloved String Quartet No. 12 in F major, “The American.” Performed by violinists Robin Hansen and Ani Bukujian, violist Elizabeth Prior, and cellist Emileigh Vandiver, the musicians will also share insights into the composers’ lives and legacies.

Wine and charcuterie will be available for purchase.
