Healdsburg Center for the Arts invites you to enjoy this National fiber exhibition. Intertwined [fiber from one extreme to the other] honors all forms of fiber art expressions, from the humble woven basket to the abstract sculpture and from the traditional tapestry to the conceptual works with a social statement. All materials – paper, wool, cotton, metal, wood, plastic etc. are represented. Fiber works have many modes and techniques – weaving, paper-making, felting, dyeing, surface design, sewing, quilting and more. All are represented in this exhibition.
Opening Reception for Intertwined is July 21, 5-7pm. The public is invited to meet the artists and eenjoy wine and light refreshments.
They will have a Closing Tea and Artists Salon on Sept 3, 2-4pm. Come enjoy some tea and light refreshment while informally discussing the art with the artists.
