Learn how easy it is to preserve the season’s bounty no matter the time of year by creating such delicious and healthy fermented foods. Fermentation is a time-honored method of increasing the nutritional value of food and adding more probiotics to your diet. In this workshop led by SHED’s culinary educator Joel Whitaker, you’ll learn the basic methods of making simple kimchi and sauerkraut at home and taste a variety of fermented foods and drinks from the SHED test kitchen.
