Come celebrate Arbor Day and plant trees with Santa Rosa Recreation and Parks! Learn about trees and why they are good for our urban and natural environments. After the tree planting, cake will be served to honor Luther Burbank’s birthday. This free family-friendly event is held rain or shine — trees like the rain!
Location:
This year we will be hosting two tree planting parties. Please join us at one of the following locations: 1) Mesquite Park (2250 Mesquite Drive) OR 2) Northwest Community Park (2880 W. Steele Lane)
- Supplies such as tools and gloves will be provided
- Water and granola bars will be available
- Enjoy cake after the tree planting in honor of Luther Burbank’s birthday
- Children are welcome but must have adult supervision
