Kids remember time spent with them, and every minute counts at the 5th annual Down Home Day, presented by Artful Arrangements. It’s so much fun for everyone when kids feed their parents or grandparents applesauce, rescue them from a “burning” building, or make sincere efforts to color hearts or bugs on an offered cheek in Grown-Up Face Painting, just three of the many fun parent/child games and contests.

Admission, parking, and many activities are free. $1 contests have $25 Gift-Card prizes donated by local sponsors. There is also live music, libations, and a chicken BBQ fundraiser. Mother’s Day weekend is all about family!
