Welcome

Freeman Winery is a small-production winery in Sonoma’s Russian River Valley known for refined Pinot Noir and Chardonnay inspired by Burgundy and shaped by the cool coastal influence of the Sonoma Coast. Founded by Ken and Akiko Freeman, the winery has built a loyal following for its balanced wines, meticulous vineyard sourcing, and thoughtful hospitality experience.

Guests visit Freeman for intimate tastings inside the winery’s striking wine cave and peaceful redwood grove setting. The experience feels personal and relaxed, offering a closer look at the craftsmanship behind Freeman’s acclaimed cool-climate wines. Many of the winery’s most sought-after Pinot Noirs come from celebrated vineyard sites across the Russian River Valley and Sonoma Coast.

Freeman Winery combines world-class winemaking with a calm, understated atmosphere that stands apart from larger Napa and Sonoma tasting experiences. Tastings are available by appointment.
