Explore Come To My Living Room, a solo exhibition by Sonoma County artist Alice Warnecke Sutro at Alley Gallery. Known for her large-scale live drawings, Sutro offers a more intimate look with a series of paper works rooted in a nude figure session staged in her own living room. These expressive pieces reveal layers of process—copper etching, seasonal light, digital overlays—that reflect personal connection and artistic experimentation.
Sutro, an artist and grape grower, studied at Stanford and California College of the Arts and launched her SUTRO wine label to honor her family’s century-old vineyard. The exhibition runs July 11–20, Thursdays–Sundays, 11 AM–4 PM. Don’t miss the free opening reception July 11 from 5–7 PM with wine, light bites, and remarks by the artist at 6 PM. An artist talk will also take place Thursday, July 17 at 6 PM. Space is limited; RSVP via Eventbrite.
