Pruning Workshop at HomeFarm at the SHED

Come out for a morning at HomeFarm’s heritage orchard, the perfect place to review the goals and techniques for pruning deciduous fruit trees to promote health and productivity. With farmer, chief composter, and farm co-owner Doug Lipton, you’ll learn how to choose the right tools and build your confidence around the timing and techniques used to tend your apples, pears, peaches, plums, and more.

This workshop that will take place offsite at SHED’s HomeFarm in Dry Creek Valley. Directions will be emailed to all workshop participants ahead of the event. Plan to wear sun protection, layers, and shoes appropriate for walking on the farm.
