Historic Golden at UC Davis Bodega Marine Laboratory

On Friday, June 16, the historic Golden Rule Peace sailboat currently traveling the California coast will stop at the UC Davis Bodega Marine Laboratory to discuss nuclear issues from 1958 to the present. From 3:00-5:00pm learn about the history of the storied Golden Rule, and what you can do to support the UN Treaty to Ban Nuclear Weapons. The panel will feature Gary Cherr, Professor and Director of the Bodega Marine Laboratory, Lynda Williams, antinuclear activist and physics faculty at Santa Rosa Junior College, Helen Jaccard, VFP Golden Rule Project Manager, Matthew J. James, Professor and Chair of the Sonoma State University Department of Geology, and Eric Stanley, Curator of History at the Sonoma County Museum.
