Back by popular demand! Black Violin blends classical and hip-hop with their own brand of “Classical Boom”. On Stereotypes, the band’s #1 debut crossover album on Universal Classics, Wil B and Kev Marcus imbue everything from dance floor-igniting R&B to subwoofer-bursting rap with masterful instrumental accompaniment. Classically trained on violin and viola, Kev and Wil have garnered rave reviews from NPR to Essence and recent appearances on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” and “The Tavis Smiley Show.” Black Violin are joined onstage by DJ SPS on the turntable and Nat Stokes on percussion.
